Colors are spiritual. The right color, or combination of colors, in the right moment can get you more connected to yourself and closer to God. Color itself is spiritual. The language of color is the language of the heart; the language of Spirit.
This painting brings the spiritual nature of color together with always moving water on the canvas to create a scene sure to move the emotions. RedEarth was my first painting using a technique of pouring water directly onto the canvas -- the splash pattern making marks that look like flecks of light, shimmering on the water.
This painting for me is a reflection of my relationship with the Earth and with God. Beautiful and everchanging.
